Kai Japanese Restaurant Langley

The dinner boxes are exceptional! They had an abundance of premium ingredients, including generous portions of potatoes, broccoli and mushrooms. The service was fast and efficient. The food came out very quickly despite the restaurant being relatively busy. This ranks among the best sushi restaurants I’ve visited in BC.

Service was great, decor was great too Food is excellent, especially the blue fin tuna was very fresh. It’s very close to authentic Japanese restaurant experience. I will go back, little bit on a pricey side, but you get what you pay for. It is definitely 1 step above those restaurants focusing on the specialty rolls.

Really enjoyed my visit here! The food was solid, especially for the price—great value without compromising on quality. The atmosphere was super chill and relaxed, perfect for a casual night out. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place is very clean, which definitely adds to the appeal. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to others looking for good sushi in a laid-back setting.

Kai langley at Latimer Village is becoming a goto for Langley Japanese. The restaurant is very spacious and we like the minimal decor. The dishes are all lovingly prepared and the small touches of arranged flower sashimi or shredded beets and daikon make for a nice presentation. We are huge fans of the Spicy Chirashi - Korean inspired seafood salad with rice and an incredible spicy umami dressing. It's served in a massive salad bowl, great for sharing with a few friends! The dinner sets are also delicious, and such good value. The seafood salad is also delicious, perfect for a solo entree. The only "miss" would be the chicken karagge according to our teen son (a self proclaimed connessieur) as the pieces of chicken are cut like fish and chips, and not as crispy and bite sized as expected.

This is by far my favourite sushi restaurant in Langley. The quality of food and atmosphere cannot be beat. The servers are all extremely friendly and the variety in lunch and dinner boxes is rare as I often feel the box options lack what someone wants but almost always get dinner box A. As someone that likes to have a beverage with my meal, the house white wine is extremely affordable , and I’m not certain what it is but tastes just like the oyster bay Pinot Grigio. In my opinion the quality of food , value, atmosphere , service and price truly cannot be beat. Thank you Kai!
